Increased Burglaries in Prestwich

Good afternoon,

There has been an increase in burglaries in the Prestwich area. Two individuals have been arrested, with enquiries ongoing. A patrol plan has been requested to occur overnight.

If you're heading out, keep a light on, use light timers or a TV simulator to make your house look occupied. Consider installing outside lighting such as motion sensor light so that intruders cannot approach without being seen.

Installing an alarm system can help deter burglars. If you already have an alarm installed, ensure you use it.
